New Zealand Frogblog has today reported that Neptune Power are confident they will get the $10m needed to put a test turbine into Cook Strait by January 2009. Located off Sinclair Head at about 80m underwater, the project will use cameras and sensors to monitor how it works, and crucially, how whales and fish respond to it.
