So we’re trying to cut down our carbon emissions. We’re trying to cut down on our use of fossil fuels. We’re trying to reduce the air miles concerned with our consumerism.
Well, some of us are - it seems multibillionaires have other things to think about - such as where to go in their luxury SUBMARINES!! This article by the Seattle Times discusses the craze of these $80 million toys and the secrecy and extravagance that makes them appeal. Wonder if they come in yellow….

How Can You Do Our Bit To Help Save Our Planet? Something that you must bear in mind is that these ideas do need some thought and sometimes a little bit of perseverance. If some of them aren’t practical to your circumstances, just remember that the important thing is to do your best – do what you can!

The Royal Family are increasingly coming under the spot light for their 1st class or private helicopter/jet flights around the world, and whilst researching this I was reminded of a cracker of an example by Prince Charles earlier this year…

Madonna’s new single, Hey You, urges people to take their impact on the environment into consideration. The video for the track, which was released to coincide with Live Earth, the Wembley concert of which she headlined, shows melting ice caps and planes taking off.
