We are actively looking to support a whole range of projects that promote a 'greener' way of life and help either (a) reduce greenhouse gas emisions or (b) mitigate and protect against their damage.

Problems are best delt with before they happen, therefore reducing emissions getting into the atmosphere has to be a major part of our effort. However the problem is already all too real, so we also need to take action to try and neutralise the damage that's already been done.

There are loads of things that can be done. For example simply recycling and reusing rather than throwing away all our refuse. Also planting trees in the UK and more tropical climates which help absorb CO2 in the atmosphere, or supporting the development and adoption of renewable energy resources, such as wind, wave and solar.

The burning of fossil fuels and the industrialisation of our world has without doubt added to the problem of greenhouse gases. But what most people don't realise is that methane is a far more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. Infact it's 21 times more powerful than CO2! It's for this reason helping to capture these gases through better animal husbandry and management of landfil sites is also hugely important.
